The work Jim did on my sofa cushions was fantastic! They look and feel brand new. Not only was Jim a delight to work with, his prices were extremely reasonable and he did six cushions in one day. I dropped them off first thing in the morning and picked them up at the end of the day! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!! Thanks again, Jim!

Great work, fixed a high end leather couch for a very reasonable price, was very fast turnaround when other local upholsterers told me it would take them much longer to do the repair. Very satisfied . Thank you!

Jim took a decade old Mitchell Gold chair and made it better than new. He was able to source the fabric the next day and he had the chair finished in just a few days. He was incredibly easy to work with and communicated very well. I've already recommended Jim to friends and family and will most certainly use him again.

Jim recovered my mother's fireside chairs. These were very special chairs and were in desperate need of refinishing. Jim's workmanship was glorious. My mothers chairs are absolutely beautiful. Her memory will live on for many more years. We are so happy with Jim's work. I cried when he dropped them off. His prices were extremely reasonable. Thank you Jim. Jim is a great upholsterer! I had a very expensive bed with leather headboard and footboard. Over the years, thanks to kids, it got scratches and was in need of repair. We did not want to dole out a lot of money either. I came across Hishmeh's upholstery during online search and it was literally a mile way from my house. Jim did a wonderful job with my piece of furniture. He is very transparent and gives the client few ideas about what can be or cannot be done without messing up the furniture. Also, we were in a tight time frame and he dismantled and picked up the furniture from house and brought it back as well. I highly recommend him......My bed looks like new! Fareeha

Our experience working with Jim has been excellent. The quality and workmanship was much was better then expected. Jim's schedule was very flexible it allowed us to drop off, pick out my fabric and pick up my chair at my convenience. His prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have something reupholstered.

Great Work and Good Price.  I have a high value designer dinning room set, and the chair fabric had taken a lot of abuse as my kids were growing. It had made the whole set not suitable for our guests. I found Jim on internet and went to his office with a chair and was looking to just change the fabric. Jim provided multiple options and made suggestions which have made the dinning set look beautiful and not only restore but enhance its value. Jim has a happy customer now and I plan on making references as my family and friends use the furniture. Great Job Jim!!!!

So happy I chose Hishmehs!  Jim and his staff did a really excellent job.  I brought him seats and backs from two different sets of wrought iron chairs and the reupholstering job is better than they probably were 50 years ago.  Great finishing job and matching the fabric.  I would highly recommend!

I just had my sofa re-upholstered and was more than pleased with the outcome. Jim was a pleasure to deal with: knowledgeable, fair and very responsive. We contacted Jim to create a custom banquette (breakfast nook) for the kitchen in our new home.  Not only were we looking for the upholstery, but we needed someone to build the entire piece.  What impressed us right away about Jim was he was enthusiastic about the job.  Our house has baseboard heat so we needed to have something made that would be flush against the wall and have a cut away from the heater.  Jim came to our house and took the necessary measurements and we discussed at length what we were looking to create.  He brought with him so many beautiful fabric samples all within the color range of what we told him we were looking for.  During the process Jim called us with a question about the depth of the piece.  We discussed the necessary sizing and he asked us to come to his workshop to try out the banquette prior to upholstering it.  He wanted to make sure the depth was accurate.  We went there and tried out the banquette to make sure it was correct in depth and height.

My boat canvas tore during a long trailering ride. I priced out a new canvas from the manufacturer and found it cost $$$. I called Jim and Hishmeh's and he quickly (within 4 hours) repaired the tear and it looks like new.
